Carole Goldman: an artist painting FIGURATIVES, PORTRAITS, and FLORALS…boldly!
You’re here & I thank you!
I use pastels for most of my work, but even with a large brush filled with paint, I draw.
Pre-pandemic, I was drawing once a week for 3 hours, drawing from a live model, in person, in a studio.
But nowadays, I’m drawing 3 days a week on Zoom! Poses last 10-15-20 minutes, and my imaginative, stunning models from a very distant Manchester, London, San Paolo, Perth, etc., are viewed from my computer in Los Angeles, California.
I am thrilled to be creating art in such an expressive, speedy, emotional, colorful, abstracted way!

Here I am in hair and makeup on set for a mafia mamma — did I mention I’m also an actress? I imagine my character would say something like:
"My guys will come get you if you don't buy a piece of art."
