My art is all on odd-sized paper or canvas. No typical standard-sized stretched canvas for me. What can I say? I’m an art rebel. I tried standard sizes and hated to work on that.
What that means for you: you might encounter challenges in framing. If you don’t simply bring it to a custom framing shop, here are my top arty solutions:
1) nail it to the wall; 2) hang it with clothes pins on a line; 3) screw it to the wall under some plexiglass; 4) glue it to some pressed wood board (a.k.a. particle board) and attach a hanging device on the back; or, 5) have fun finding a solution that pleases you. There are no rules! Let your imagination fly.
